An internationally recognised programme that equips ordinary people with the skills to control life-threatening bleeding before emergency services arrive.
Uncontrolled bleeding is one of the leading causes of preventable death in trauma situations. When a serious injury occurs — whether a road accident, a workplace incident or a violent crime — the people physically present are often the first and only ones in a position to help before emergency medical services arrive.
The Stop The Bleed programme was developed in the United States following mass casualty incidents and is now taught worldwide. ERMT delivers this programme locally in Benoni and across Gauteng, giving participants the practical skills and confidence to act decisively when it matters most.
No medical background is required. This course is designed for everyone.
